Together, we can! Alliance Act for SSC and SSCPS

Dear SSC/SSCPS students, parents, alumni and friends,

You must have learned from news report about the campus of our schools (SSC and SSCPS) that we have spent years and generations together is severely damaged by typhoon Mangkhut. Trees were uprooted and facilities have been damaged. You can see for yourself the damages sustained from a video made by staff members of SSC that we have uploaded separately.

St. Stephen’s College Alumni Association, St. Stephen’s College Parent-Teacher Association, St. Stephen’s College Preparatory School Parent-Teacher Association and Friends of SSCPS (collectively, the “Alliance”) have
consulted Principal Yang and Principal Wai as to what our community could help restore our schools. The Alliance understand that additional funding is required to help rebuild our schools. A detailed amount is not available at this stage but for sure that amount will be substantial. You are being asked to help contribute the necessary funding. Please help our schools

We will provide further update on the restoration of our schools once further information is available.

SSCAA has consulted Principal YANG as to what the alumni community could help restore our alma mater. We understand that additional funding is required to help to rebuild our alma mater. A detail amount is not available at this stage but for sure that amount will be substantial. Alumni have been asked to help contribute the necessary funding. To:   All members of St. Stephen’s College Alumni Association Limited, all alumni of St. Stephen’s College and all alumni of St. Stephen’s College Preparatory School.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Annual General Meeting of St. Stephen’s College Alumni Association Limited will be held on FRIDAY 5 October 2018 at 7:30pm (registration from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm) at King’s Cuisine Restaurant, 6/F, Windsor House, 311 Gloucester Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong for the purpose of transacting the following business :

1. To approve the minutes of Annual General Meeting of St. Stephen’s College Alumni Association Limited held on 6 October 2017 (at Appendix I);

2. To receive the President’s report of St. Stephen’s College Alumni Association Limited for 2017 to 2018;

3. To receive the audited accounts of St. Stephen’s College Alumni Association Limited for the period from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018

4. To elect the Office Bearers for 2018 to 2020 and Members of the Executive Committee for 2018 to 2019;

5. To appoint Lee, Au & Co as the auditor of St. Stephen’s College Alumni Association Limited for the period from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019;

6. Report on the launch of the Big Field Project; and

7. Any other business.
