鑒於德育及國民教育課程的話題引起一些舊生的關注，舊生會在這話題跟校方聯絡及得到以下答覆： 學校跟隨聖公會指引，於2012-2013 年度新學年內，聖公會屬校一律不擬推行教育局的德育及國民教育課程。 此外，聖公會亦成立特別「德育及公民／國民教育專責小組」，在專責小組完成編寫課程及教材後，才考慮推行有關課程。 學校在早會上亦有跟學生討論關於德育及國民教育課程的話題，提醒學生需要思考自己的立場，如果想支持反對行動的話，學校是容許學生把黑布綁於書包上。
