Notice of Annual General Meeting
St. Stephen’s College Alumni Association Limited

To: All members of St. Stephen’s College Alumni Association Limited, all alumni of St. Stephen’s College and all alumni of St. Stephen’s College Preparatory School.

NOTICE is hereby given THAT Annual General Meeting of St. Stephen’s College Alumni Association Limited will be held on FRIDAY 28 October 2016 at 7:30pm (registration from 7:00pm to 7:30pm) at King’s Cuisine Restaurant, 6/F, Windsor House, 311 Gloucester Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong for the purpose of transacting the following business:

 

  1. To approve the minutes of Annual General Meeting of St. Stephen’s College Alumni Association Limited held on 25 September 2015 (at Appendix I);
  2. To receive the President’s report of St. Stephen’s College Alumni Association Limited for 2015 to 2016;
  3. To receive the audited accounts of St. Stephen’s College Alumni Association Limited for the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016;
  4. To approve the proposed amendments to the Article of Association of St. Stephen’s College Alumni Association Limited by the Executive Committee for 2015 to 2016 (at Appendix I) to:
    1. change the terms of office of the President, Vice-Presidents, Honourary Treasurer and Honourary Secretary (i.e. office bearers) from the Annual General Meeting from which they were elected to the next Annual General Meeting (existing provision) to the second Annual General Meeting thereafter (proposed amendments) (at Appendix II); and
    2.  make other textual amendments to align its text with enactment of the new Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622);
  5. To elect the President, Vice-President, Honourary Treasurer and Honourary Secretary for the year 2016 to 2018 (if item no. 4(a) is passed, or 2016 to 2017 if item no. 4(a) is not passed) and Members of the Executive Committee for 2016 to 2017;
  6. To appoint auditor of St. Stephen’s College Alumni Association Limited for the period from 1 July to 30 June 2017; and
  7. Any other business.

Save the Date – SSCAA Annual General Meeting

Time: 28 October, 2016 / 7:30 pm (7:00 for registration)

Venue: King’s Cuisine Restaurant, 6/F, Windsor House, 311 Gloucester Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong

The Executive Committee (‘Excom’) of St. Stephen’s College Alumni Association Ltd (‘SSCAAL’) would like to advise our members that we target to hold this year’s Annual General Meeting (‘AGM’) on 28th October 2016 at 7:30 pm (7:00 pm for registration).

We have been advised by SSCAA’s auditors that the audited financial statements should be available by then and these will be presented to members at the AGM. We hope more members will be able to attend in October after their summer break.

Once we have received confirmation about the audited financial statements, formal notice of the AGM will be sent to members. In the meantime, please kindly reserve 28th October 2016 evening for the AGM.

The positions of the President, 2 Vice Presidents, Honorary Secretary, Honarary Treasurer and 10 Excom members will be open for elections at the AGM.

If you are interested in serving SSCAA in these capacities in 2016-2017, please contact our current Honorary Secretary Kelvin Lee by e-mail at kelvinkayunlee@gmail.com who will pass your personal profile for members’ reference.

SSCAA Social Evening 2015 – 社交晚會2015

There are million reasons not to join us, but only ONE reason for your you to come to our Social Evening – COME and COLLECT your memories (Good and bad ones =p)

We will have professional DJ and lighting at the TSK Hall to make the more event more memorable.
Do NOT miss out, it can be your last Social Evening!

If the number of attendants does NOT reach to an adequate level, the event will be canceled and we will all miss out this once in a lifetime event!
